Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to operate the directory. Specifically:

• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter. You are never required to provide an email to browse the directory.
• Agency submission data — if you submit an agency listing, we collect the information you provide (agency name, website, GitHub URL, description, tech stack).
• Usage data — aggregate, anonymised analytics (page views, referrer source, country) via a privacy-respecting analytics provider. We do not fingerprint individual visitors.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, postal addresses, or payment information.

• Email addresses are used solely to send the newsletter you opted into. Each email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Agency submission data is used to populate and maintain directory listings.
• Aggregate usage analytics help us understand which pages are useful so we can improve the directory.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party. Ever.

We use a small number of cookies strictly necessary to operate the site:

• Session cookie — used to remember anonymous filter preferences during your visit. It expires when you close your browser.
• Analytics cookie — set by our privacy-respecting analytics tool (no cross-site tracking, no data sold to advertisers).

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing any core functionality of the directory.

Agency profile data — including repository names, star counts, languages, and contributor information — is sourced from the GitHub public API. This data is publicly available and governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.

We cache this data in our own database to reduce API load and improve page performance. Cached data is refreshed periodically. If you are a repository owner and wish to have data removed, please contact us.

We may also use the following third-party infrastructure:

• Vercel — hosting and edge network. Vercel may log request metadata (IP, user agent) for security purposes per their Privacy Policy.
• Email service provider — used to send newsletter emails. Your email address is stored with this provider solely for that purpose.

• Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe, after which they are deleted within 30 days.
• Agency submission data is retained as long as the listing appears in the directory. If an agency requests removal, the listing and associated data are deleted within 14 days.
• Aggregate, anonymised analytics data is retained indefinitely as it contains no personally identifiable information.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU residents and CCPA for California residents), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
